In existence since 1986, the PATA Orange County Chapter is progressive and
valued entity within the Pacific Asia travel education industry sector.
Under the dynamic leadership of our past and current Board of Directors, OCPATA has
successfully promoted Pacific Asia travel for many years, while enjoying
many outstanding achievements - including the "Spirit of PATA
Award" in 1999 and "Award of Excellence" in 2000 an 2001.
The chapter is proud of its achievements, especially by our outstanding members who have
contributed to our success. Our membership is active throughout the travel industry and
participates regularly in PATA events both nationally and internationally, at the chapter level,
as well as in the international Annual Conferences.
In addition to regular executive committee meetings, general members/supplier meetings, and
seminars/presentations, our members have also made numerous important contributions to worldwide
challenges and causes set by PATA.
Although the Orange County chapter of PATA (OCPATA) is flanked by Southern
California (Los Angeles) and San Diego chapters, both covering a much
larger physical size, OCPATA continues to maintain a quality membership of
over 150 independent and corporate members who are exceptionally active in,
and supportive of the chapter’s policy and programs.
